Africa: Jamaican Government invites Miss Nigeria after her Wild Celebration of Winner of Miss World

The Jamaican government has invited Miss Nigeria, Nyekachi Douglas to the country following her celebration of the winner of the just concluded Miss World pageant, Toni-Ann Singh from Jamaica.

The social media was awash with Nyekachi Douglas celebration of the Jamaican winner.

Nigerian Beauty Queens are showing the World the other Side of Nigeria.

Also at the Miss Universe Contest the South Africans on Twitter were stunned with how the Nigerian contestant celebrated her South African counterpart on her announcement as Winner of Miss Universe.

Her celebration of the Winner was Epic. This scene was repeated on a bigger Scale at the Miss World event in London. The Nigerian had qualified along with Miss Jamaica in the Top 3 as Finalists. On the Announcement of Miss Jamaica as Winner the Nigerian queen erupted in Unbelievable celebration of the winner.

Initially people got confused with her Celebration thinking she had Won but then they saw her joy was for the Winner who was still stunned with winning such a huge award.
Just the week before a Nigerian queen had won the Ms Tourism World contest in India Miss Hadassah Ibiyangi.

Most Nigerians were not Surprised with the celebrations by the Nigerian Queens as it usual practice and Tradition in Nigeria to Celebrate with Winners especially if she happens to be your friend. “A friend of the Queen is a queen too”.

It has been reported in the media that the Minister of Tourism Jamaica Edmund Bartlett has also extended an invitation to Miss World contestant, Nigeria’s Nyekachi Douglas, to visit the island.

According to atqnews.com, Bartlett extended the invitation during his speech at the 2019 Golden Tourism Awards. He said the Nigerian’s reaction to Jamaica’s Toni-Ann Singh being crowned Miss World 2019, showed love and friendship.

Miss Nigeria’s reaction to the moment Singh was announced the winner of the international pageant has since gone viral.

Douglas told the Jamaica Observer that she wished she had waited a bit longer before she had her big reaction.

“Looking back at it I wished I had just waited 10 seconds until after she had the crown, after we had gotten off stage, to like jump like a crazy person,” she said.

Bartlett also extended an invitation to 2nd runner up Miss India, Suman Ratan.
