How African Airlines Celebrated International Women day 20202 in Style

Happy International Women’s Day 2020.

This is how African Airlines are marking the 2020 International Women’s Day.

1. Ethiopian Airlines is operating an all-female crew Boeing 777-300ER flight from Addis Ababa to Washington DC via Dublin. The flight which departed Addis Ababa late yesterday night, is en route and will touch down in Washington at about 8:15am local time after a brief stop in Dublin. The flight is commanded by Captain Amsale Gulau.

2. Kenya Airways is operating an all-female cockpit crew Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner flight from Nairobi to New York. The almost 15 hour non-stop flight is currently en route and is led by our own Captain Irene Koki Mutungi. The other pilots are Captain Parul Patel, and First Officer Sumanpreet Rehal.

3. Today, Kenya Airways will also operate an all-female crew flight from Nairobi to Lusaka and Harare in Zimbabwe. The flight will be operated on a Boeing 737-800NG.

4. Today also, Kenya Airways will also operate an all-female crew flight from Nairobi to Mombasa using an Embraer 190.
