Ghana leading carrier, Africa World Airlines (AWA), is set to increase its flight operations to Kumasi days after the airline commenced its second flight operation to the city.
The airline said it will fly a third daily flight between Accra and Kumasi effective 22MAY20, offering even more choices for travelers between Ghana’s two largest cities.
According to the carrier in a statement, the new service will operate on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at mid-day, and will be in addition to AWA’s morning and afternoon flights.
The airline which also flies up to 3 daily flights to Tamale, disclosed that it will soon recommence flights to Takoradi shortly.
AWA said “Depart from Accra to Kumasi at 920am, 1210pm or 310pm, and to Tamale at 9am, 1150am or 230pm. Departures from Kumasi are at 1040am, 120pm and 420pm, and from Tamale at 1030am, 130pm and 4pm.
“Every AWA flight operates with industry leading safety protocols that ensure all our passengers, staff and crew can “Fly Safe, Fly Confident!”.
